 The Department of Urology East Avenue Medical Center is celebrating their Urology Week from September 21-25, 2015. It was started with Eucharistic Mass at East Avenue Medical Center chapel followed by ribbon cutting and opening of the lobby exhibit with theme about “Fundamentals of Urology”.

The East Avenue Medical Center will once again undergo an external quality managment audit for the third time on 16 September 2015. EAMC is ISO 9001:2008 certified since October 2013. The audit aims to determine the compliance and conformity with ISO standards. Prior to the said visit, EAMC internal quality auditors headed by Ms. Mendiola conducted a five days internal audit last 16-20 July 2015 to all offices as preparation to the visit. 

The East Avenue Medical Center - Institutional Ethics and Review Board (IERB) undergone accreditation by the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board, Last 30 - 31 July 2015 and 1 September 2015. The accreditation aims to review the Standard Operating Procedures of the EAMC-IERB in conducting health research.

Research conducted at the East Avenue Medical Center involving human participants is overseen by IERB. Its purpose is to facilitate clinical research and to ensure that the rights and welfare of human subjects are protected during their participation in the research study.

The Universal Health Care High Impact Five (UHC-HI-5) is a strategy which aims to produce the greatest improvements in health outcomes and the highest impact on the priority, vulnerable population, with focus on five critical UHC interventions prioritizing the poor, providing tangible outputs which are "felt" within a breakthrough period of 15 months through synchronized nationwide implementation of activities.

The East Avenue Medical Center (EAMC) - Department of Health's High-Impact Breakthrough (HIB) Program aims to bring the hospital programs and services to the affected communities within and outside the hospital. In line with this, the Department of Dermatology has prepared a Series og High Impact Awareness and Interactive Lectures in order to showcase the field of dermatology as "Skin Health for All".
